80
Years Since The Passing Of The Rebbe Rashab
Chassidim
marked the eightieth year since the passing of the Rebbe Rashab on Beis
Nissan 5680 (1920) with farbrengens and special events. The
Rebbe Rashab’s unique approach, as given over to the “soldiers of
the house of Dovid,” the Tmimim, was discussed at length at the farbrengens.
Mashpiim in yeshivos and Chabad communities reminded
their audiences of the Rebbe MH”M’s directive to strengthen and
increase their learning of the Rebbe Rashab’s teachings.
Naturally,
the focus of attention was the sicha/nevua about “all those
who go out to wage the war of the house of Dovid,” which describes the
state of the Jewish people on the threshold of Redemption, as well as
the special role the Tmimim have at this time.
In
Rostov, Russia, where the Rebbe Rashab lived his final years and was
buried, a special farbrengen took place in the Rebbe’s home.
In
770, Chabad world headquarters, an evening to mark Beis Nissan was held
with the participation of rabbanim, mashpiim, Anash, and
Tmimim.
The
highlight of all the farbrengens on Beis Nissan was the
opportunity to rededicate oneself to fulfilling all the Rebbe MH”M’s
directives in preparation for Yud-Alef Nissan. After all, it was on Beis
Nissan that the Rebbe spoke about the importance of the declaration “Yechi
HaMelech.”
